Meet Marissa 2024 Grad
Marissa has been a part of Uhuru since the age of 10. I vividly recall the initial evaluation day when she got sick from nerves. I doubted she would return for round two, but she showed up ready to give it her all. We witnessed her transformation into a skilled footballer, a top-performing student, and a highly reliable and mature young adult. There are countless superlatives that could be used to characterize her, but the word that epitomizes Rizi, as she is affectionately known, is
"Unique." She possesses qualities that any coach would value in a team member. The University of San Diego is truly fortunate to have a player of Rizi's caliber, who excels both academically and athletically. We eagerly anticipate her performance at the collegiate level.
Marissa, we are grateful for the chance to join you on your journey and contribute to your accomplishments in both athletics and academics. You will be greatly missed.
