Uhuru Satellite School Partnership Update
Over the past years Uhuru Liberia, we have been searching for a permanent home. Many schools applied to be a Uhuru satellite school but didn't meet our standards On my last trip to Liberia, I meet with Killingworth Mission School. Made an offer to have them become the official satellite Uhuru school in Africa. Where all Uhuru Kids will attend tuition. In exchange, we'll raise the educational level and improve other aspects of the school. I'm pleased that we are very close to finalizing our agreement and making this dream a reality. We expect by late February it will be official and I'll provide more details
Our staff have been working very hard. This school has everything we vision, from the location to the administration, It's private Christian school a bit over 400 students from k-12
Uhuru Campaign to Fight Malaria
Malaria is a leading cause of child mortality in Africa, killing many children each year. Children under 5 are most vulnerable to malaria because they have not developed immunity to the disease yet. Children under 5 are especially vulnerable, accounting for 80% of malaria deaths on the continent in 2020. Around 481,500 children lost their lives to this deadly disease in Africa over the last year alone.
Factors that contribute to malaria in children
This campaign to fight Malaria is very dear to us The original amount was to raise $1000 by February, but due to a larger public support and matching fund. The drive amount has been raised to $3000 and the deadline has been extended to April 16. deadline

Marissa has been a part of Uhuru since the age of 10. I vividly recall the initial evaluation day when she got sick from nerves. I doubted she would return for round two, but she showed up ready to give it her all. read more
